MOTIVATION
A NEW LIFE
Culmination
At some point in our journey, we undergo some sort of shift. Following spiritual insight, turmoil or ongoing dissatisfaction, unexpected silence emerges. We stop chasing—not recklessly, but with a resigned sigh.
We begin observing our thoughts and actions, identifying unusual reactions. We reflect on our thinking. We awaken and suddenly the need for approval and fulfillment fades away. When our goals fail to resonate and frustration peaks, we abandon our pursuits. We find ourselves in a void where returning is futile, yet moving forward feels equally impossible.
Illumination
No one informs us that this loss of motivation could be the greatest spiritual upgrade we've had so far. Our ego hasn't vanished; it's merely disoriented, lost without its map. As motivation fades without direction, we've awakened from one life chapter but haven't entered the next. Our psyche recalibrates, rejecting all that is fake, forced, or ego-based — jobs, relationships and ambitions. We're undergoing a process where we often loose nearly everything.
Recalibration
This is a time to rest and do nothing else but exploring our inherent personality. The soulful core within us, connected to all things, is devoted to expressing its truth. We are not here to serve the ego but to integrate it with something greater.
Stagnation
Unfortunately, today’s world shuns this sacred pause, no longer recognizing it as an integral part of growth. Tranquilizers, self medicating, anti depressants or meditating in Bali via profound reels online; we're still driven by fear to see loneliness as oneness. Confusing detachment with disengagement again we disconnect.
In these crucial moments, contemporary psychiatry aims to heal through medical interventions, or rapid therapeutic training, aiming our silent suffering up to what's considered 'normal proactive living'.
However, continous growth gets stuck as we choose a path away from our authentic selves. In reality, our psyche—through its innate wisdom—intentionally curbs our motivation and clarity, prompting us to confront the emotions and truths we have long suppressed.
Transformation
We might be desolate drifting but the soul does not. It knows what it desires —it wants to thrive through us. It seeks to bring heaven into the human body, redefining our role in the world instead of rejecting it. We are metabolizing, not failing, into the essence of who we already are. To embrace this, we must wait and ripen, like all things in life. Avoiding our darkness hinders transformation — iron into gold, something essential for wholeness.
Integration
Something beautiful occurs: motivation returns as a quiet, soul-led movement that feels like remembering. Seeking recovery, it illuminates the healing process differently. This is the true work. We tackled the hardest step of recovery; transforming self-sabotage into an enthusiastic drive for growth. Joy now serves as a cornerstone of our foundation, integral to our journey rather than just a goal to be pursued.
It’s as simple as refraining our innate questions:
- What should I do - What's quietly calling me.
- What's the plan - Where is life nudging me.
- How can I prove myself - What feels real.
- How to impress - How to express.
- I deserve - What do I offer.
It's as simple as moving from frustration to ease and from getting to giving.
Creation
This is when life shifts from survival to meaning. We burned out to rekindle, not as an end but as a beginning, discovering our motivation is now rooted. This type of energy accomplishes tasks far more efficiently than ego ever could as it is sustainable energy fueled by the soul. It is our intrinsic motivation that drives us to serve, heal, build, and teach. Inner knowing. As a result, we naturally begin to appreciate our surroundings and engage in deeper contemplation, among other things. Ultimately, this energy reflects our true essence. Seamlessly we transition from a consumption-based life to one of thoughtful creation.
